Accessing our school site

Murrell Street is the only access road to the school and is predominantly used by parents to either park their cars and enter the school premises to drop off or pick up their children and/or briefly stop their cars to drop off children to school and pick up children who are waiting on the footpath after school.

Restricted parking in Murrell Street includes 15 Minute Parking, 2 Hour Parking, No Standing and No Parking zones with Ashfield Council Parking Rangers diligently on daily patrols.

Some parents and visitors choose to park on the other side of Liverpool Road in Queen Street and other local streets.

Please remember that a right hand turn from Liverpool Road into Murrell Street is not permitted.

Wests Ashfield Leagues

Wests Ashfield Leagues has agreed that parents from Ashfield Public School may use its parking facility.

This will be an option for parents finding it difficult to find a car park in Murrell Street during drop off and pick up time, before and after school. The condition of parking is that parents accessing the car park become members of Wests Ashfield Leagues, at a cost of $5 per annum.

Vehicles accessing the car park will 1) turn from Liverpool Road into the side road then 2) turn right into the EAST car park then 3) turn 180° and drive into the WEST car park. Please park on B2 West
