It is a Department of Education (DoE) requirement to provide an updated Medical Action Plan(s) which has been written by a doctor regarding your child's medical condition/s. These Medical Action Plan(s) need to be provided to the school along with the required medication as stipulated by DoE Health and Safety policy.
These plans are used by school staff to manage your child’s medical condition which may be, for example, asthma, eczema, anaphylaxis or epilepsy. Management includes making special provisions for your child including administering medication.
