Walk Safely to School

We participate in the annual National Walk Safely to School Day with a focus on safe, pedestrian travel that teaches students safe practices when walking to and from school.

On this day students & parents meet teachers at designated points in our local neighborhood and together, walk safely to school.

It is important that every day students use safe walking routes, including correctly using pedestrian crossings. Parents should hold young children’s hands where needed, and practice the “Stop, Look, Listen and Think” approach when crossing roads.

Walking regularly supports healthy habits and road-safety awareness.
