School Awards

The Student Awards system recognises and celebrates our student’s capacity to make choices that support their ongoing progress.

The choices include to be responsible, respectful, resilient, fabulous, a friend, safe, a learner, healthy, inclusive, and embrace diversity. All students in the school are supported to earn a Certificate of Success for making positive choices.

Once a student has earned 10 Certificates of Success they receive a School Award at morning lines. After earning 5 School Awards they are presented with a School Medal. 5 school medals will earn the student a trophy and 5 trophies earn a school badge. All these achievements are recognised in the school newsletter, the Wangal News.
